We are interested in understanding how fish regulate body fluid ion/acid-base homeostasis, hormonal control, and energy metabolism to cope with changing environments. We have been endeavoring to develop new fish models and more powerful approaches for our physiological studies. Our studies are also extended to different species for enhancing our understanding of the evolution of vertebrates from evolutionary physiological point of view.
