Common Equipment Introduction
 

    The Common Equipment Facility located in Rms. 401-2 and 401-7 houses many basic instruments, including T-Gradient and Real-time Quantitative PCR machines, microplate reader and NanoDrop, spectrophotometers, gel/membrane imaging systems, High-Performance and Ultra-Performance Liquid Chromatography, flow cytometers (analyzers), an xCELLigence real-time cell analyzer, an electroporator, a qNano nano particles sizing machine, an automated microfluidic capillary electrophoresis system, and an XcelVap evaporation/concentration system.

  1. If users are more than 15 minutes late for their appointment, the registration will be deemed cancelled.
  2. If any instrument failure or abnormality is detected, please stop immediately and notify the manager (Rm401-5). DO NOT CHANGE ANY SETTINGS OR RECONFIGURE ANY PART OF THE INSTRUMENTS. 
  3. ALL activity on the instruments MUST be logged.
  4. Be sure that all equipment and work areas are carefully cleaned; EVERYTHING you may have brought into the lab, such as gloves, tubes, tips, samples, papers and bottles should be cleared away.
