Institute of Cellular and Organismic Biology (ICOB), Academia Sinica, Taiwan, invites applications for an Imaging Core Manager (with the title of Assistant Research Specialist). ICOB, consisting of 21 laboratories, engages in biological research at the molecular, cellular and systems levels in the fields of cell and developmental biology and neuroscience. Interested candidates should have MS or PhD degree in biophysical sciences and have extensive experience in advanced microscopy (e.g. superresolution, light sheet, and correlative imaging techniques). Candidates with experience in constructing custom microscopes are especially encouraged to apply. Excellent analytical and communication skills are required. The successful candidate is expected to organize/manage the imaging core facility, develop advanced microscopes and adapt new imaging techniques together with ICOB scientists.
