我們實驗室致力於學習和記憶的分子/細胞機制研究。應用多元的專業技術 (包括電生理學,生物化學,細胞生物學,生物活體成像和動物行為學等),以及不同的實驗模式系統 (包括原生神經細胞和小鼠),我們希望能深入了解神經細胞是如何發育和整合到不同的迴路中以執行大腦的認知功能。我們特別感興趣的研究方向如下:

  1. 神經細胞如何在發育過程中建立正確的連結和大腦迴路;
  2. 神經突觸可塑性 (synaptic plasticity) 如何影響動物的學習和記憶;
  3. 神經突觸失能(synaptic dysfunction) 如何導致智力障礙(Intellectually Disability)和自閉症症候群(Autism Spectrum Disorder) 等常見的人類大腦神經發育障礙。
